Ive been looking into riser cables lately, for the sake of custom pc casing, but the view across the community is varied, some say it affects the performance of the PCI-E cards, others say it doesnt.
How much, if any effect at all, would a 30cm riser cable effect graphics performance, or PCI-E ssd drives? I generally only use my pc for gaming and engineering.
Also: When it comes to picking new ram modules, what is better with regards to gaming and engineering? Currently, i house 32gb of quad channel 1333, and im lucky even when working to hit 40% usage. Would i benefit from upgrading speed and downgrading size? Many say that beyond 1866, no benefits are gained in gaming, and as this machine is used more for that than work, that would be my focus.

PS: It would be awesome if for one episode, you made your voice altered, and/or had the camera focused on Wendel for the entire time, with you in the background :) So we can really see what the Tek Syndicate commentator does. And Melbourne is pronounced as is, only inbreds from the country pronounce it Mel-bin, But Victoria in general is a bad state.
