Advice on home server cpu power

Hi, my pc set on fire (vrm's) so going to be updating home pc's, but this time i want a home server and gaming/editing pc.
I have never built a server before so dont know how much cpu power i will need. The OS will be win 2012 and i will need it to do the following:

Back up 5 pc's in house, 4 i5 haswell machines and one 5820k machine
Will need the ability to stream my films which will be in mp4 to 5 devices at one time. Plex server probably.
Have upto 6 network cameras recording to it
Run some game servers like minecraft etc for kids
Store all media and gonna map drives so kids pc's can just use ssd's
and also using client account do rendering through night so my pc can be turned off.

I have a lian li pc-a76 case for it already and will be using either wd se/re drives or HGST drives.
I'm currently thinking of 2 x E5-2620v3 cpus with 32-64GB of ECC memory and maybe asus Z10PE-8WS.

So is this powerful enough or too overpowered?

Many thanks for any help you can give in advance

Should do.

cough linus cough

In all seriousness though the parts you picked sound fine, though keep in mind that those xeons might be overkill, and a single 5820k/930k or E5-1650 v3 might be more efficient overall, as its going to spend most of its time idling anyways.

Thanks for your help i will look at reviews for E5-1650 v3 and start looking at single board options like x99e ws. Again many thanks :)
