Getting ready for my first gaming rig build, what do you guys think about it? Feedback would be appreciated. I plan on using my tv instead of a monitor to help save money.
I would take Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 or Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD5, they got better Phase power 8+2
much better for OC-ing, btw you can buy 2Tb HDD for the price of that 1Tb...
Also for that money you would be better with ThermalTake Overseer RX-1, bigger case with much mire feature
Otherwise you are good...
I would just change out the 8350 for the 8320 and that both your Hard drive and PSU are a bit expensive for what they are. I would either get a cheaper 1tb or a 2tb at the same price and a better PSU for the same price. Besides that you did a great job on the build!
Better CPU cooler, better motherboard and better GPU for less. Can't moan at that right?

Nice build topic starter
the Asus M5A99FX pro r2.0 is a great board. also for overclocking look at logans movie, he used that board in the movie FX8350 oc vs 3770K oc.FX8350 stable at 4.6 GHZ
only it hass a 6+2 power phase design , but that doesnt say all. the asus board is quality
The Gigabyte GA990FXA-ud3 or ud5 are also very good choices.
But if you realy wanne go crazy and you have the money for it Asrock 990FX Extreme 9 with 12+2 power phase. specs on that board looks realy awesome ☺
But wenn you look to overall pricing, the Gigabyte GA-990fxa-ud3 is the cheapest board. nd has 8+2 power phases. so that would probably the best choice
I think you shoulg change the mobo to the gigabyte, better value. Everything apart from that looks good.
