Does anyone know a disk management tool that allows you to write data backwards on the disk. To be more specific: when writing media on my drive I want to write it from the center towards the exterior but also be able to write the games from the exterior towards the center of the physical disk (the regular way). That should optimize the hard dive pretty much to maximum performance. With a tool that allows you to write data in both directions you would not need partitions to optimize performance. I have never seen such a tool but an advanced defragmentation tool... maybe... is it even possible to do this in windows?
The Kai person is correct;
but if you don't want to get rid of your partition I remember there was defrag tool from system mechanic that allowed you to do this too.
