Ok so the other day I had been overclocking as I got my new cpu cooler. So I decided to open Adobe Premiere Pro CS4. I opened it and loaded my project, just as I was about to drag a file to the timeline it froze and would not respond. I had to restart my computer. I then rebooted and tried again, the same thing happened. I then decided to try After Effects CS4, the same problem happened. I then tried Photoshop CS5 and it didn't happen. I then remembered that I seen an Adobe updater in the taskbar the day before. So I thought that Adobe had patched my cracked versions. So today I downloaded After Effects CS5 and Premiere Pro CS5, thinking that this would then get rid of the update. But once I had installed them it continued to crash. I then thought that it could e my overclock, so I disabled it in the BIOS and the crash continued to happen. I have not tried opening Photoshop again today but I will after I have posted this and come back to report if t crashed. Does anyone know what is wrong or how I can fix this?
It still doesnt crash on photoshop.
completely uninstall all of the adobe suite and then reinstall.. id say use revo unintsaller to get rid of everything like registry etc then install master collection then youre good
The problem is still happening and it is also now doing it on photoshop. Is there any log files that I can look at to see what is causing the problem or something?
I have messed about with Premiere Pro and it only crashes when I drag a file to either the time line or into the project. I remember something like this happening with photoshop before a opengl settings of some sort, is there a setting like that in Premiere Pro as I have searched all of the setting sand cannot find one?
make sure all of your drivers are up to date?
Thanks for the help but it looks like the problem was the 257.15 Nvidia drivers as I have gone back to 197.57 and I am having no problems.
I Suggest Installing CS5 Master Collection :)
