Adobe audition vs audacity

THE TEK SYNDICATE TEAM, Which of these software IS best for noise reduction ,in fact noise removal and from where can we learn about those form basics to make maximum possible use ?

I'm not a member of the Tek Syndicate team, however I am an audio guy and I have done a ton of recording, mixing and mastering.
That said - I would use Audacity for simple single audio tracks and noise removal or reduction. #1 it's free, and it's very simple to use. Just google audacity noise reduction and you will find some tutorials.

Now if you are looking for some software that is a bit more powerful in terms of what you can do, and you want to do multi-track or more than just noise removal - then hands down I would go with Presonus Studio One.
You can get the basic version for FREE here - http://www.presonus.com/products/studio-one/download

Hope this helps!

try Reaper it supports VST plugins and more. it has pretty much the same UI as cubase if you are familiar with that. Its has a free trial linky here http://www.reaper.fm/

Thanks for your help ... I am great full  :)

+1 for Reaper. Fantastic program, and extremely cheap (in price) compared to similar DAWs.

Just wanted to throw in that if you're looking for serious noise removal software, check out iZotope RX or Cedar DNS One.  RX is 100000000x more affordable and both are comparable.  Neither are affordable compared to Audition or Audacity, but I felt the former two offerings deserved a mention due to their effectiveness.
