Im having some trouble getting windows to accept me as an administrator, I have set my account as an administrator account, yet I frequently run into problems requiring me to run programs as an administrator. Now if my account really is an administrator account, why is there a difference between just running a program and right clicking to run as administrator?
Here is a work around if you don't want to have to do that or take ownership of a file. http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/enable-the-hidden-administrator-account-on-windows-vista/ .
it's a security device, windows prevent modifyn/accessin some stuff without direct approval...
