Hello Tech Comm
I have two Sapphire 6870's in crossfire and i have 3 monitors plugged into one card, The sapphire 6870 only supports a MAX of 3 monitors but i would like to add a forth, is there a way to add a forth monitor without affecting the my other GPU's activity.....I know there are some usb display devices out there but im not sure if windows will be able to keep my discrete GPU and the external display device running at the same time.....I hope this is understandable ill post a short youtube video which should explain this post alot better......i hope

If you have an intel processor with hd graphics you can install the drivers use the onboard graphics to power a monitor. I've had 4 monitors on my computer by running 2 on a gtx 460 and 2 on an i7 4770k
I dont have onboard video, do u think i can install a lower end PCI express x1 or x4 video card and enable it as separate display device and go from there.......what are my other options

yeah, i've done it, it's not hard.
Adding another card should work fine and couldn't you just plug a monitor into your second card?
I have zero experience doing it, but can't you daisy chain monitors off of a displayport output? I thought you could support at least 3 off one output, but even if it is only two, you'll still be at four total by using your other outputs.
Am I completely misinformed?
