So quite recently my grandmother and I have started a cellphone plan on Verizon in order to split the bill and save a bit of money. We split 4GB's between us but her phone is using data all day long due to her not having wifi.
I don't have a ton of information on her system but know that her modem is this model number
g90-610015-20
I wanted to know if there was a way to add wifi to her system without raising her bills as she is on a fixed income and can't afford to be paying through the nose when the data goes over 4GB and we can't just keep raising the data cap.
Does she have internet at home?
You can buy any of the shelf router and set it up. You can have wifi through that.

Yup, Razor, sees the point to my question. That will cut down her cell phone data usage.
I didn't realize it was that simple. I've never had to do this so that's why I ask.
Does her Verizon home internet also share the 4GB data limit? If so, that wont help. If not, then there's your answer.
No it does not thankfully. Sounds like a relatively cheap router is the option then. Sounds perfect thanks for the help guys.
Yes, you could just get a used router or a 150mb N router for $20. Set the router up, and then set her phone to pull off the router. She'll be gold then.
