does anyone know of a good alternative to Adblock Plus? (firefox)
I don't use adblock plus, because I have nothing against ads in principle. on the contrary. it's how great free web content is paid for. what I don't like is annoying ads which pops up, or playing sounds on my speaker without my permission.
I know adblock has an allow list, but I can't be bothered.
I would like something that's equaly effective, but only blocks the crap.
I'm guessing that if there is an alternative its going to have the same kind of features. Its going to block all the ads or just the sites you want blocked.

I like noscript too so far, I think it is more strict compared to regular adblockers, maybe even too strict, so
someone told me to look into ghostify (what I will do right now :) )
