Acer x34 monitors review

yo bro's! I got 2 x34's predators. got them when they were 1st released. both of them overclocked fine to 100 hz. I use them for gaming and programing. the osd is hard to navigate but not a huge deal. these replaced a single rog swift. super happy with them.let me know if you have any questions

Nice setup.

I've had two just not at the same time! First one developed a back light shadow near the center but was swappped out in a couple of days so no complaints.

From what it looks like you've a single GPU in there, how does that work for gaming? I dont know if its related to pixel real estate or just the amount of monitors but when I go from 1200p+1440p to 1200+1440p+1080p setup my 980Ti boosts to 900MHz even on idle. What are the temps/fps etc with that setup both idle and different load scenarios? Also what GPU is that?

thanks bro! I'm using a titan z. (only 1 display port) so sad lol. waiting for the next dual gpu from NVidia. temps are good after about 5 hours of gaming its mid 40's degrees c. a 980 ti is dang close to the performance of titan z. fps are ok but not great.

I think That will be my next setup once I build my new rig for editing. Also what monitor arms are you using?

its awesome man! I went with a spaceco monitor arm. model number Sx11gt-blk with heavy gas arms. its was like 380$ shipped.

Funny I had a quick search for that Spaceco arm and just found your post on LinusTechTips.

I was using the X34 with a A399U 3840x2160 on a 980 Ti and occasionally got a stuck high idle when messing with resolutions. Re-start always cured it though.

My issue now is when using my 1080 HP monitor via DVI it limits the refresh on the X34 to 60Hz. So I need to swap that one for another DP display.
