Today was my final advanced C++ class. Last semester at the start of the first C++ class, I set a goal to complete that class and the upcoming advanced class using Linux, Vim and the gcc only on the terminal.
I'm happy to say I did well in both classes and did it all using those tools alone.
If you're a Vim user you'll know about all the things in addition to the language you pick up doing that.
That was f#cking awesome!
