So I am pretty proficient in MS Access and I have built quite a few applications from within Access. I really want to move my DBs into a SQL environment. I want to use Access for my supervisors so they can run their reports and use WebApps for employee data entry. I want to use SQL for its functionalities especially High Availibility. I have never setup a MS SQL server myself. Does anyone have good resources or documentation? I have been reading official MS docs but I was wanting more. I already under stand SQL asa language but as a server I am a bit nervous.
eventually I would like to use my custom built SQL server to communicate and see other instances of SQL Server and be able to access their DBs to create a more complex system allowing for things like deep analitics and Reporting and Business intelligence. Any good resources I may not have already found?
