About that 10Gbe USB-C 3.2 ethernet stick

So about this (16:00)…

I would love to get my hands on one since my home server is basically a ryzen laptop from late 2020s without USB4 or Thunderbolt.

The best I could find was a bunch of Aquantia based 5Gbe adapters from multiple vendors that can’t really quite do 5Gbe according to an article and video on ServeTheHome.

Apparently it’s not a BUS problem but something related to the chip. I think it might be reasonable to think an USB-C 3.2 could do 7.5-8ish Gbe? I also suspect the thing would be hot as hell considering all the USB operations.
