Since my second Asrock A320M Pro4 just died I was looking for another mainboard from a different company. I discovered that advertising for CrossFireX was about everywhere, even for mini-ITX boards with just one PCI-e slot.
My question is:
Isn’t CrossFireX for coupling two (of the same kind) graphic cards? What sense then makes CrossFireX on a mini-ITX board?
Theres crossfire then crossfirex. Two separate techs. Essentially if you built a system with a 2400G and a RX580 you could sorta tie the two GPU’s together.
According to AMD’s website you cannot Crossfire the iGPU in the 2400G (or 2200G)
“Dual Graphics: No”
OP, what ITX motherboards are saying that? Crossfire ITX doesn’t make much sense. I’m at work so I can’t really look around much at the moment.
That did used to be the case with the older lines.like the R7 270 and what ever apu was available then. I have not heard of it since.
