Hi all, After taking a break from the internet in general I began doing some soul searching and some heavy thinking. I have come to realize that my recent behavior towards the Tek Syndicate community and the internet in general has been lacking grace for some time. I was out and about today and I happened to run into a very clean looking gentlemen wearing a Star Wars shirt. I asked him what he liked about Star Wars and he mentioned that most of the parts he liked about the Star Wars universe revolved around the planet Coruscant.
I said "What! everybody knows it's all about fucking Dagobah! Luke gets his training all while hauling around that lil green dude on his back. Fuckin' Gangsta!" He unlocked a huge storehouse of knowledge and let me have it. I couldn't understand why at the time and I made little effort to understand. I get it now. He really did have a MUCH greater understanding of the Star Wars universe than I did.
I have come to the realization that my ego can get the best of me and I am doing all I can to change it. I would like to personally thank that clean-cut, sharp-witted, and astute young man for helping this Potato grow some eyes. I can only hope that the people of this and other communities can forgive or tolerate me. I have come to the realization that although I have much to offer I still have much to learn.
I enjoyed the x-wings stories, the thrawn trilogies, offshoot stories of bobafett, and most of the Coran Horn stories. So when you say Dagobah , all you said was i watched the popular movies. I have to agree with the guy's opinion about Coruscant. 200 and some odd books to catch up on. Get to crackin'
You seem to have a problem with that ? Stop being so defensive . Nothing in life is perfect. These guys have a warped sense of humor which is not really personal attacks. Just humor.
