Ok, so I've just went on Newegg and I've seen that and I had a cognitive dissonance. Seeing the label WD Blue on a ssd feel very strange. What's your thoughts?

With my past luck with WD blue drives I'd never touch one of those.
I bet they're good drive though.
They're a TLC drive, so instantly not interested. They're also a direct rebrand of a SanDisk X400, which can be found routinely cheaper online. The 1TB X400 is $255 on amazon, while the 1TB blue is $400... Same drive under the hood.
Well WD bought out Sandisk a while back so that is the ssd part but I just didn't know when they were going to release an ssd product.
I'll be more interested when they've been around for a while and come out with a WD Black series. Hopefully, they'll have a beefy warranty as well.
Hmm, that could be good. WD has a good reputation as a brand, and sandisk as well.
ehhhhhhhhh
Suggesting they dont? There industry standard for lots of things.
their usb's suck and their ssd's are ok at best. they dont stand out in any ways or innovate, they just have cheap stuff with ok to bad failure rates.
I had CN-Memory and PNY USB-Drives fail on me, but never a SanDisk.
