Hi. I keep seeing vpn's that you have to buy, I thought I'd share one that I use that's free if you just use it on your main machine. It's called Spotflux , I've used it for about 2 months and it's helped me with throttles from my isp. Let me know what you guys think of it!
I'm always suspicious of ad-supported VPN's. Internet ads, by nature, are pretty invasive. It kinda discredits the privacy end...
Could still have a use for avoiding throttling and maybe watching Korean Netflix, but as jerm1027 said, I wouldn't trust it in terms of privacy. If anything, they probably just want a front row seat to your private information.
What about SoftEther VPN? I'm trying it out now. Definitely seems slower than no VPN, but it's free with no ads and it does route through Japan or Korea, depending on which server you pick.
if they are free they are making money off you somehow so that means they are selling your info and data.
