I don't know if I would call it a direct competitor of the pi's except for the pi zero. The pi's are more powerful BUT I can't get my hands on a damn Pi Zero. I have a project that I want to start but I need a tiny lil puter to make it happen. Thanks for posting this.

same been looking for a pi zero to do a security camera project and just can not seem to find one.

I have built a pretty robust security network around my home with Pis, Love the device just wish there was not these shortages on product.

I know what you mean. It's weird, I don't know how to approach the situation. Usually I am fueled by the fact that they are a company who's only reason to exist is to take my money. This is not the case at all with these Pi Zero's I watched a video and I remember them saying that they profit less than one dollar per unit. So I've decided to just wait it out for the time being.
