A new gaming mouse from Cougar. What?

I am intrigued by the design. Wonder how it will pan out in real use.

yet another right handed mouse i cant use! :,)

Ya, I am a lefty but i am so use to using righthanded stuff. It no longer matters. Very interested in the adjustable palm grips. Maybe the seperate fire button. Chasis looks kind of rugged.

a max dpi of 8200 is the magic number where if a mouse has that, it has a poor sensor (9500, 9800, or PTE). Which means either significant acceleration, or z axis flaws.

Good to know. I only use a 5800 dpi logitech g700 but its aging. Need a replacement soon.

3366: best sensor, no detected flaws. Only problem is only 1 mouse currently uses it, Logitech g502

next best sensor is subjective:

S3988: high perfect control speed (good), no acceleration(good), least responsive of the 3 compared sensors (tiny issue) mice that use it are Razer Deathadder 2013, Razer Krait 4g

3310: high perfect control speed(good), tiny and consistent acceleration(objectively acceleration is only bad if it is inconsistent, it is so small it is probably not noticeable, and because its consistent, it shouldn't have a negative impact on your performance), somewhat unresponsive(average) mice that use it: Mionix Naos and Avior 7000, Steelseries Rival, Corsair M45. Mouse communities currently think the Corsair M45's implementation is likely more poorly implemented than the others, so if you want this sensor, the corsair would be the last i'd recommend of mice with this sensor.

AM010: no acceleration(good), very responsive(good), low max DPI(in a shooter its good, you shouldn't need a high dpi, but if you have a very high resolution monitor and play top down games, like SCII, might prefer a higher DPI)  and medicore perfect control speed(worst of the 3 compared, only an issue if you play at a low sensitivity) mice with it: Logitech g602, and g100s.
