Finally moving out of my parents house to get a dorm at college, but that means I'll also be away from my dad's thousand upon thousands of tools. I've looked on amazon and newegg for repair kits but they all mad pretty mixed reviews. Does anyone know of a good one thats preassembled or would I be better off just buying the tools and case myself and putting them together?
What repair kits? What is there that you could fix with tools? A broken PCB? I don't think so. Just buy some screw drivers for removing shrouds, heatsinks, taking apart case, etc. There is literally nothing else you could repair.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16899263010 I would recommend replacing the wire cutters and the cable crimpers after a little while. I own this kit and it has done me wonders. Good way to get started
