So I made a budget AMD rig for $600, so here's my Intel Rig. I went with what people were telling me to go with, which was an i5-3570k. I think this build will be good for any budget people, or if you want to build your first rig.

Let me know what you think, give suggestions, etc.
Since you're not putting a GPU, I'll assume that this pc won't be used for gaming or video editing.
In that case there's really no point in going 3570K. It's fast, but you won't need the speed for general use.
If you want to game, go AMD and add a GPU. This is all for the price point of course.
Never mind that. I see now that you did put an HD 7850 in. But honestly, my argument still holds.
This is what I'd build for $600-$650: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1Xven
For gaming, this is much better as you get a 7970 instead of a 7850.
If this is too steep: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1Xvh1
That's the 7970 replaced by a 7950.
Believe me. You'll get MUCH better gaming performance with either of these builds.
I know you want to make an Intel gaming rig, and that's cool. But for $600 you shouldn't. And you shouldn't recommend to to other people. I believe you should go Intel at >$800. And that's because you won't get a major fps boost from upgrading from a FX-6300 to an i5-3570k. You should spend the extra money into getting a better GPU.
I get this a lot, but I personally don't want to build this computer. This is a computer for anyone who wants the Intel option in this price range. I could probably get a cheaper CPU and make the GPU better, but this isn't for me. I have an AMd option on the blog as well, and everytime I do one CPU build, I do another build and try and find things to complement the CPU. Soon, I'll start making GPU-based builds.
I do agree, if you want to build a budget rig, the AMd option is a lot better, but some people just want Intel.
People who are building a $600 gaming rig and want an i5 are just stubborn and frankly stupid.
