A few questions

im about to go to collage next semester. ive been trying to get enough money for a proper gaming pc. but when i figured out that im most likely going to be staying in the dorms and dont like the idea of a $2000 computer setup being unattended to for more then a few seconds. i thought it probly would be a better idea to get a laptop.

my first question is what laptop would you guys recommend? ive been looking at the asus rog laptops and the msi gt seires of laptops.

my second question is if im going to be lugging this thing aroud through collage campus do you guys know of any good bags? would like something that would protect the laptop really well.

my third question is am i posting in the right form?

I would really advice against a gaming laptop. That is just me. They are bulky, heavy, and still offer very little performace. Get something like an ultrabook. It will do all the multimedia stuff you'll ever need to do for college. Maybe, you can make a Bit Fenix build or another small case build. Just my 2 cents...

like i put in my first post i dont like the idea of having a gaming pc at a dorm were i will most likely have a roomate. having a laptop i think would be better for me so i can have it with me at all times. i peronaly cant stand ultrabooks/netbooks granted ive only toyed around with a few they were slow.
