9H Issue!

I just got the Steel Series 9Hs and I have two problems with them and I'm hoping someone can help me.

 

1.) I can not get the soundcard to work. There is just no sound.

2.) I can not get the side tone to work. I came from a headset that used side tone whether you liked it or not so I have become used to having side tone. Or its just really quite.

have you tried setting your sound output in windows to use your sound card?
