98.275% sure my RAID 0 is failing. Anyone got some experience I can learn from?

So I'm pretty sure my RAID 0 is failing. Probably shouldn't have made it with refurb Seagate drives. Transfers are stopping part way through and the read speed when it actually is reading won't pass 30-40MB/s. I'm running disk checking now and luckily there isn't anything too important on there. Just game installs and stuff. I actually made this array for LANSyndicate to hold my game library. It's a software RAID in Windows 7 btw.

Thoughts would be great, laughter accepted and prayers to the noodly lord of the sky appreciated.

Just recreate the array? You should have all your data backed up externally

I don’t think thats an option… One of the drives is totally borked. The other seems fine though.

Then it's time to buy an SSD

I have one. It's only 500GB though.

Just unplugged the drive, let it cool down and swapped bays and now it's working. Time to dump everything I can to a spare drive!
