945GC-M7 will PCI-e 2.0 work?

Hey, guys I was a fan of Tek for a while and finally made an account. I currently need some help.

I am planning on buying a new(er) GPU. But I am worried whether it will actually work or not.
I've read that PCI-e 2.1 isn't supported by older motherboards that use PCI-e 1 such as mine, so I am stuck with very few options. So my question is whether my 945GC-M7 will support a GT 430, GT 610, GT 620 or GT 630? All of them appear to be PCI-e 2, but I am stressed that 9600 GT 512mb didn't work 4 years ago on my PC for some reason and I might run into similiar problem.
Also, if it would help, I could possibly upgrade to Asrock G41C-GS motherboard because that's pretty much my only option that still fits my system. (I'm not from the USA)

Current system:

Motherboard: I945C-M7B (appears as 945GC-M7 TE in Biostar website) http://www.biostar.com.tw/app/en/mb/introduction.php?S_ID=303#spec

CPU: Intel 2 Duo E8400 @ 3GHz (LGA 775).

GPU: nVidia 8500 GT 512 MB @ 459 MHz core, 400 MHz memory.

PSU: Somewhat 400w'ish but I doubt I'll run into any trouble. If there is a need, I'll underclock my GPU.

RAM: 2 x 2 GB DDR2 @ 533 MHz.

So, basically, will 945GC-M7 support a GT 630 (or any mentioned above) PCI-e 2? I know that the only PCI-e 1 are those 8*** GT and even a  8600 GT would be an upgrade for me but I can't find any.

P.S. I plan on buying a new PC for college, so upgrading whole system isn't an option.
Would be amazing if someone had same/similiar motherboard and would share their experience.
