Just need a cheap PC to do some light gaming @ 720p and general use (Email, Facebook), smaller case if possible.
Here's the build I came up with (keeping in mind im limited to 2 stores in nz http://www.computerlounge.co.nz and http://www.playtech.co.nz/
AMD 5800K Trinity 3.8Ghz 4MB Cache Socket FM2
Gigabyte GA-F2A55M-DS2 AMD A55 Socket FM2 mATX 2x DDR3-1866
SILVERSTONE TJ08B-E Black uATX Mini Tower Aluminum Bezel Case
G.SKILL Ares Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1866
Corsair TX-650 V2 ATX 650W 80 PLUS Bronze Power Supply
Western Digital Caviar Blue WD5000AAKX 500GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache
Asus DRW-24B5ST SATA Black 24x DVDRW Retail
Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit DVD-Rom OEM
Total: $1049
Anything I can do to make this cheaper?

omg those prices.
euhh you have a over kill psu maybe get 430 watt?
pirate win7?
and thats basically it.
why those two
im in new zealand aswell and i'd still buy from amazon/newegg/ncix etc
but if you HAVE to buy it within nz get it from pbtech
its cheaper
but not by much
as for the build
you could truly honestly get something that does light gaming but is generally for surfing the net in a laptop for the same price
I dont have much to say about the build though, to be honest
May have forgotten to include the fact this build is for my Grandma so when grandkid's and such come over to her place they have something to use. Otherwise it's just for General use and NCIX and Newegg don't do international shipping to NZ and buying off of Ebay is expensive and unreliable.
