900D Watercooling

I got a 900d a couple of weeks ago and i'm starting to collect parts to watercool it. Not planning to include the gpu's till i upgrade them. I have purchased the koolance cpu-380a because it is really solid and has good performance.

Please keep in mind that i live in Australia.

What radiators would be best? (thinking 2x alphacool 480 ut60, 1x alphacool 240 ut60)

Pump/Res setup? (single pump or dual in series. thinking Alphacool VPP655 pumps)

Fans?

My current setup is:

XFX 1250W Black Edition Full-Modular PSU 80+ Gold

crosshair v formula

FX 8350

H100

2x Asus EAH6950 DCII/2DI4S/2GD5 Crossfire

Gskill ripjaws 2133 CL9 2 x 4G with Gskill ram cooler

Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB x 2

Well, what are you after? silence, aesthetics, overclocking? And what is your budget. Also, have you found a good place to buy from yet?

Rads - i would go a couple of the xspc rx480, & a rx240

pump in a series will help due to the lenth of the loop in such a massive case.

hope this helps. Love the 900d, such an improvement over the 800d

I'd go for an Alphacool Monsta 480 in the bottom, and a slim 480 in the top, like an XSPC AX480,

As foc tho pumps, any single D5 is more than enough for this loop. I'd look inno a Swiftech MCP655 with a Bitspower mod kit and pump top, or single Swiftech MCP35X. Dual pumps, especially in parallel, is massive overkill seeing as a single 655 or 35X is already so powerful you can turn it down and be really quiet.

As for reservoirs, it depends on if you want an integrated or individual res. I am a fan of Bitspower Mulit Z. Generally in the 250mL size, but there are lots of nice resrvoirs you can mount with the Bitspower mod top directly on the pump.

As for fans, I'm a huge fan (no pun intended) of Scythe Gentle Typhoons, at 1450 RPM for low noise, fantastic static pressure, and stunning looks. If you're getting dual 480mm rads, then I'd go for pull exhausting out the top of the case, and pull exhausting out the back side with the bottom 480, if you aren't going for 16 fans for push pull. Either way, you will need fan splitters, and/or a fan controller. If your budget can afford it, Aquaero is the brand. The brand. Generally, I like the Aquaero 5 Pro, but they have better and lower-end models, as well.

Also, I recommend Bitspower or Monsoon for fittings. Pretty much all compression fittings will work, but the quality and choices of Monsoon, and especially Bitspower, make them the best choice.

No price limit on cost, i will take longer to save up, to get the best parts.

After a sweet spot between noise and performance.

Aesthetics don't need to look perfect, but not ugly.

The dual pumps are intended for multi block upgrading, adding gpu's and mb vrms/chipset later on.

Here's what i've decided on so far:

The waterblock i already have

Thankyou to everyone for your help.
