$900 Canadian Build

I've been trying to switch my friend from console to PC and I think I've finally convinced him. He will need a copy of Windows, and wants to play 1080p games at high settings. One game he really wants to play is Arma 3, so an intel part is ideal. He has a few requirements and dosen't have peripherals, but what's important is that I stay within the $900 budget (his original budget was $800 but he decided to push it). WiFi is also required, be it onboard or with a USB adaptor. He wants to record on his PC, so an nVidia card with shadowplay is favourable. He also wants a (smaller) form factor, and really likes my bitfenix prodigy/prodigy-m, so I'd like to produce to two options- one with and without prodigy. I drafted some builds but I'm sure there are some adjustments that can be made either to fit some more performance or lower the cost. Having another set of eyes look at the build can definitely save a bad decision. Another thing that may push him to wait is either the release of the GTX 800 series (may push EVGA parts for step-up) or Intel's Devil Canyon CPUs and Z97/H97 mobos coming out within the month (hoping for either z87 drop or at least more performance per dollar).

Also, some cheap, nice 1080p 60Hz monitor recommendations would be appreciated. He's leaving the monitor off the budget but will need a new one.

These are the builds I drafted:

Now looking at these builds:

The budget is really around $1000 +/- $50 With monitor, kb, mouse, os, etc. The problem is my friend's father insists on one thing only: Intel CPU. I really need some ideas to bring down the price while (hopefully) retaining an overclockable build with some nice looking components. I'm open to some mATX builds but really want to keep this small form-factor as this will be a LAN machine.
