8Gb Memory Showing up as 60% full on idle

Basically what is says on the tin, I keep getting Low Memory Errors when I try to run games. I'm running 8Gb of Corsair Vengeance Pro yet only running a browsers task manager is saying i'm using 63% of load. I know it must be some software problem as my PC seems able to run any games easily:

I7 3770K @ 3.9Ghz w/Corsair H60

Asus 7970 Matrix Platnium

8 Gb Corsair Vengence Pro

Corsair 750M

Samsung 250Gb Evo

WD Green 2Tb and a 750Gb

Might start with malwarebytes full system scan. Follow it up with Avast full scan and boot scan and browser cleanup. All are free and will atleast get rid of the worst of it.
