lol not exactly a nice find. Type in 890fx and look at the amount of sites that have it. Maybe E-ATX I don't know but msi is making a micro atx board that's the same thing with 3 pci-e slots. Why can't AMD get a license from NVIDIA to make boards that support sli and crossfire? Intel did even though they hate each other.
No Nvidia had it's past partners like MSi, Asus, and EVGA put Nforce 200 chips on their X58 boards, which allowed for SLi. Intel may have licensed it more recently but that was the situation last year.
You wont be seeing a new mobo design till after mid 2010, they'll probably make a new mobo socket as well when this happens. The Thuban will be using am2+/am3 (it's also called the phenom II x6), and after that there will be the scorpius platform (2011, or 2012), which im guessing will either be a wicked fast 8 core 8 thread or a 12 core.
I may have to upgrade my PC super early, that mobo is just so sexy. DrMos = win
I just noticed that the North Bridge is in an awkward spot, right under the VRM's, not under the socket.
Meh not as bad as a lot of the intel boards. Doesn't look as high as some of them either. If I get this and a thuban I'll most likely use the corsair H50 with it anyway
