OK OK! I know people are probably sick of this topic already. But this is kinda different. So I can either get a i5-3570k for 225$ or I found a fx-8350 on sale for 184$. Seems like a pretty sweet deal to me! My purpose is stricktly gaming with some random day to day tasks. And I know some of the pro's and con's of both. So I was wondering if going 8350 was worth saving 50$ for very similar to sometimes better gaming performance. The only thing I am worried about is overheating. But I will be using a H80i to cool it. Also I have a xfx 7970 to go with it if anyone was wondering.
FX8350 the way to go, why everybody still talks about the i5 3570k? there are some games who like intel cpus a bit more, but the FX8350 beats it 8 out of 10 times..
Wenn it comes to streaming gaming, then the FX kills both i5 and i7.. sooo.. why people still talk about i5 :P
ive you not gonne oc or run a sli setup a 970 chipset boars is fine too, otherwise there are some nice mainboards with 990fx chipsets, wo are about 110 dollar, if you want the same fuetures on a z77 mainboard then you pay 50/70 dollars more, the i5 cost more, you can safe some 100 dollars if you want.. that you can invest in a good radeon card
FX 8320 is a bit cheaper and weaker but still great, FX 8350 destroys i5 and i7 in multitasking because of its arhitecture that is created for the programs and games that will made in many years to come... Multi-threading, FX 6300/FX 8320/FX 8350 is the king.
