8350 Hot Fixes

Dear Logan/anybody who reads this,

Are the windows hot fixes for the 8350 mentioned in this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4et7kDGSRfc still beneficial in Windows 8? AKA Will it harm my system if I install these in Windows 8?

From my understanding, Windows 8 doesn't have the module indentification issue with AMD CPU's that Windows 7 has, thus making those hotfixes pretty useless. I'm not 100% if it can screw up your system, but that fact they are NOT necessary should be reason enough not to try it.

Windows 8 is almost the same as Windows 7 but with a new GUI but like jerm1027 stated, they don't make a difference and they will most likely work if you install them. You may try but be prepare for problems.

I just unparked my cpu cores problem solved you can check if your corse are parked by going to task manager>performance>click resource monitor>then at the top click cpu

If you have any cores parked it will say parked next to that cpu (i had 4 parked by windows)
