On an asrock 99fx extreme 9 I got my 8350fx up to 4.7ghz on the stock heatsink and thermal paste. ASRock extreme tuner said I was at 105 degrees. Keep in mind i'm using a very crowded thermal master TC-102 case, with no case fans. The only fans in the case are the one on my MSI 7790, and the one on the stock heatsink.
And soon you will have a very dead cpu so....?
"105 degrees" you must mean 40.5C if so this must be at idle and not load. Also at 100C the pc should turn off to keep you from melting the MB
