8120 temps

I am a little concerned about my temps on my 8120. I have it water cooled. It has an xspc raystorm block on it, a xspc 360 rad and Im using artic silver 5. I have it clocked at 4.3ghz and the socket temp got up to 69 degrees C. I dont think this is normal with solow of an overclock. That can I do to get it lower if it isnt normal? The vcore is at 1.332 it is 3 clicks over stock voltage.

Try OCing it without having ti move the voltage and see what you can get. Ussually you can get a good OC without changing the voltage, so uping the voltage on your cpu is probably what is causing it.

I did. it got to 4.2 then I had to increase. I would think with a custom loop it would be able to pull more then 4.3 ghz. I had my 3570k to 5 ghz on my loop

You sure the block is seated right?

that is what I was wondering. I am going to re seat today I think

Probably should. My 2500k kicks up less heat at 4.5GHz on a Dark Knight cooler.

So ireseated the block. I didnt see a difference at all. I am wondering if I need to lap it
