Just saw this today and got curious. Over the last year or so I’ve seen a number of companies (Luma, Eero, and others) announce/release routers with wireless-mesh capabilities and was wondering if any out there are 802.11s compliant and if so, are any of the different brands interoperable such that they can form a single mesh. Anyone own any of them or have any insight?
Eh. I'm not a fan of AP meshing unless there are dedicated radios to handle the traffic between devices.
This is more of an academic curiosity. I'm interested in where the industry is moving mostly. I'm not so concerned whether or not such a system is performant.
