€800 pc build

hi guys,

i'm gonna build a pc soon but i have a some questions

I'm dutch

here is my build:

fx 8350

Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO

MSI 970A-G43

Sapphire R9 280X 3GB GDDR5 TOXIC

Western Digital Blue WD5000AAKX, 500GB

Corsair Vengeance CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9

Corsair CX500M

Corsair Carbide 200R Closed

808 euros.

the build is for playing bf4 ultra 60fps at least, crisis, ava and bf bad company 3

the sapphire r9 280x is pretty expensive, 320 euros. i don't know if it is a good cart cuz there aren't youtube reviews. The Gigabyte GV-R928XOC-3GD 270 euros is maybe better? i am not a overclocker but maybe in the futur if i need it for the game.

I want the fx 8350 but i saw lots of builds with expensive motherboards and 990fx or 990a. but a 970 is way cheaper and i just don't need al that. is there a huge differents between 990 and 970? and only pci-e 2.0 slots are available. no 3.0. i know the differents are 0.5 fps or so but still it's weird.

i also have a other question, i found another nice build but i don't know if it can handle bf4 ultra 60fps 1080p.

AMD Athlon II X4 760K Black Edition Boxed

MSI FM2-A75MA-E35

Gigabyte GV-R927XOC-2GD

Western Digital Blue WD5000AAKX, 500GB

Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO

Corsair Vengeance CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9

Corsair CX430M

Corsair Carbide 200R Closed

this one is 550 euros.

it will run ava for sure but bf4 1080p 60fps ultra? maybe high and some medium?

i was waiting for some price drops on the 7970 but instead of drops the prices are increasing. and a 280x is cheaper atm.

atm i am using a i5 750 and a gt 210 :(. the cart is dead for sure. and the i5 is just old and is also comming to his end.

For first build. The 990 boards are used because the 8350 sucks power and lower end board's heat sinks and mofsets* don't handle it well. If you want to save a few dollars you can use the 8320 but still upgrade to a 990 board. The toxic is nice. It has an extra 100 MHz on the clock compared to other 280s. Good cooling solution.

The second build is ok, but no upgradability. The board is FM2 so it is limited to Athlon and APUs. I wouldn't recommend it because your budget point allows better.

thanx a lot :)

990A or 990FX? the boards are pretty expensive so if i buy one i want a good one.

No problem, your welcome.

Asus M5A99FX PRO R2.0 is one of the more commonly mentioned 990fx ones.

it is 120 euro, it is pretty expensive but it has quality. i was looking for the 990fx g65 but it had some problems and the v2 isn't in my country.

thanx a lot again. love this forum:)
