Hello, I live in Italy and this would be my first build (right now my PC is a Pentium 4!!!).
I'd mostly use this PC to game (1080p), media and maybe some rendering. My favourite retailer is Amazon, but I might buy some parts from a cheaper (yet reliable) retailer.
The build is:
CPU: i5 4690k (220€) Mobo: Asus z97-a (with usb 3.1) (150€) PSU: Corsair vs650 (65€) Case: Corsair 200r (65€) SSD: Samsung 850 evo 120gb (75€) GPU: R9 380 4GB (210€) RAM: already have 2x4GB HHD: already have 1TB
I already have most peripherals (i might buy a good 1080p monitor later). I'll probably overclock. I also have a good sound card that i'd like to use! Five years from now i might buy a new PSU and another GPU (for crossfire) if performance become an issue.
What's you opinion about this build? Should I buy the R9 380x or instead? Can I overclock easily with this mobo? any suggestion regarding the cooler (no water cooling)?
Personally, I'd rather go with a locked i5 and a 390, but if you're really after that overclocking a 380/380X (when it comes out and if it's in budget) would be fine.
If you're into rendering, you might want to take a look at the 1231v3. It's essentially a 4790 without the iGPU, which if you have a dedicated GPU, you won't need.

It's pretty subjective, depends how much you game. I can't really look at prices because Italian partpicker is really patchy when it comes to what parts there actually are.
