8-bit choral sounds

Hi guys, 

Since hearing the choral parts of songs like 'Earwig' and 'Entry to Höllental Depths', I have really liked that kind of sound. I mess about with making some 8-bit-esque music myself, but couldn't find anything on the internet to do with the choral type of sound effect. 

It would be great if either Logan, or anybody who knows about this type of thing, could point me in the right direction.
