Have a buddy of mine looking for a quick fix and being the 390x/980ti is coming out in a few months. May just part from them, but don't know what they're worth.
What you think mint Asus 7970's going for nowadays?
Thanks
$130,- is not a bad price for a 280X if you ask me.
I literally just sold one for $130 about 5 hours ago.
So, if I can get $130 or better than just go ahead and sell.
Decided to keep my 7970's. Paid $640 for them two years ago, they still play max settings on 1440p.
Be a waste to take a 70% lost, being the only reason why I want to go 390x/980ti cause heat.
Computer room gets warm after about hour of game play. Other than that no complaints
If you are going to sell them can you PM me? I have a friend who is saving up for a PC. I doubt he will have the money before the 300 series comes out. So if it ain't worth just keep em. There will always be more to be bought :)
Sounds like a plan. My friend wants me to "give" the cards away. About time the new stuff hits the market I'll be more open to sell them at a decent price.
Only play 15hrs a week, so at best I have 200hrs on this cards. Never been overclocked and always been cleaned with a can of air monthly. PC case is on my desk never on the ground.
I'm sure when the time is right I'll part from them comfortably or build another PC.
7970/ R9 280X for $130 is a pretty good price. Some sell for as high as $180 on ebay, and $130 is on the low-end. I paid just over 140 for my XFX R9 280X, used.
yep i'm about to put mine up for sale $170 shipped.
