So Im running my 7950 at 1100core/1600mem at 1.1v with the power limit at +20%.
During gaming sessions, my temps are around 75-80 with 82 being the highest it has ever gone. Are those temps reasonable? I have my fans at about 90 percent to achieve those temps and the fans crank to 100% at 80C. Should I down the voltage a little or should I be fine
Try turning the voltage down a bit. See how low you can go. Getting a bit toasty at 100% fan speed. Which 7950 are you using?
You should always get your volts as low as possible but keep stable as this is what hurts chips over time.

thats the card, ill trying lowering it to 1075 and see how it goes
Those temps are not mind blowing. seems very reasonable for an overclocked card to me ☺ if you like it cooler, then you can change its cooler.
But how did you pushup the voltage? sapphire cards are voltage locked as far as my knowledge goes..?
when you up your voltage you risk damaging the ram on the card, sure you can monitor the gpu temps, but what about the memory temps and the vrm and mosef temps?
the card is not voltage locked. the stock voltage was at 1056 and i bumped it up to 1100. the mem voltage is at 1600. i know im risking damaging the card, but is bumping itup 50 mv really that dangerous. i dropped it to 1075 this morning and so far its stable. so i think ill keep it there
okay thats nice to know ☺
dont quote me but isnt 1080mv the upper limits?
the max my card can do is 1300, so im not even close to it
just got some instablility. ran furmark, no go. so i bumped it up to 1100 again and it crashed. i bumped it up AGAIN to 1110 and now no instability whatsoever in furmark or games. temps went from maxing at 75 to about 82. thats the highest it ever went in all my tests. Im pretty satisfied. i think ill role with this from now on.
i have a saphire dual - x 7950 oc edition and my voltage is stuck at 1.25, but my card is oc'ed to 1200mhz clock and memory is kept at stock, i have a pretty huge overclock and my fan speed is set at its default curve, my temps never go higher then 75
