7950 or 7970 or should i wait for 8000

i am wondering should i get a new gpu now or should i wait for the 8000. Also what is a better buy the xfx 7950 or 7970 (or msi)

I have the XFX 7970's, and the quality has gone down hill in their later revisions of the series.  I just blew a XFX Double D 7970 Black Edition after only 5 days of use.  I would look at different brands, maybe Asus...  Also, the 8000 series might not be out until late fall to early winter.
