Hi, i was wondering how well does the powercolor 7870 le "myst" edition perform with the latest drivers, as im making a budget build for a friend.

Very well; they are practically 7930s, sometimes performing a bit better than 7950s, but that is due to individual games, and just general real-world environments, which are always changing. Great card for the money, if you can find them.

Would it be on par with a 670? Can you give me some kind of idea of what i would get in bf3? Thanks.

The 7950 would be on par with a 670, beating it. The 7870XT is essentially a slightly weaker 670, performing better in some cases, worse in others. Get the 7870XT or 7950 over a 670; BTC mining isfudge on Nvidia.
