7870 GHZ or GTX 650ti

So,

here's my $600 build was wondering on if I should get the HIS Radeon HD 7870 GHZ edition or the EVGA GTX 650ti clock at 1 GHZ. Both cards have 2gb of RAM and the GTX 650 is a littel cheaper right now, this is $600 flat budget its for a buddy of mine that im building it for. He doesn't have much room to spend anymore.

The 7870 is the AMD competitor for the gtx 660 and with an overclock can match the stock performance of a 7950 which can max out all games at 1080p.

A gtx 650ti isent even in the same leage as a HD7870 allso with the latest price drops you can get a HD7950 for the same money as a HD7870.

in the UK these are near enough between £110-£130 each. if you are solely gaming, get the AMD. if you are doing some editing or conversions of files etc. get the NVIDIA. hope that helps :)
