I just came across a GTX780 Strix 6GB, would it be possible to SLI it with my old MSI 780 Gaming 3GB??
How much VRAM would I have??
Should I sell both cards, get a 780Ti and keep the change??

yes you can SLI them, but you will only have 3GB memory total.
Depends what you are doing - really a single GTX 780Ti should be heaps if its just for gaming and you aren't doing anything fancy like 4K or 1440p multi monitor.
If you do any "work" with the GPU I can't advise you on that but I'm sure others will chime in with valid info.
If I was you, I would spend no cash now, and wait for the GTX 8** series cards. Even if you still decide to go the 780Ti route it will be cheaper when the new series launches
I use my PC for gaming primarily and I have a 2560x1080 monitor. I play most games on 1920x1080 since most games aren't optimized for ultra wide but that is changing because more and more games are coming out with 21:9 support.
The guy I got the Strix 780 from, told me I won't be able to SLI it with my old card but I thought I would double check.
Right now I'm thinking of ditching the old MSI 780 and banking the cash until the 800 series comes around.
I only use a 2560x1080 monitor so I really don't need more than one GTX780 right now.
Honestly ether wait for 800 or sell your 3gb 780 and spend the extra and get a second 6gb card. 3gb just is not enough at the highest end of gaming. I sometimes think I should have gone dual 770's rather than single 780
Confirmed... The latest Nvidia driver has disabled SLI with 3GB and 6GB cards, even if they are the same GTX780 series.
I'm selling the MSI GTX780 and holding on to the Strix. Money will go in the piggy bank until the 800 series debuts. Unless I blow all of it in the Steam Holiday Sale...
