Hullo all,
I've got an EVGA 780 SCACX in my system right now, and I've been thinking about putting some green LEDs in there (as well as changing the blue LED in my define r4 to green). All of the reference 780s have the glowing geforce logo (not mine though), which gave me a brainwave: Run the LEDs off of the card, so the whole system can pulse to whatever nvidia settings I choose. The two pin header is on my card, and it wouldn't be too difficult to solder, but..... I can't find any specs online about the reference geforce LEDs. On top of that, I would presume that the card doesn't put out enough to power 1 or 2 LED strips nor do I have the technical expertise to augment them with Molex from the PSU with the right sized resistors and without potentially sending power back into the GPU.
Has anyone here done anything similar to this? Danke
