770 or 760? 2GB or 4GB? Any Difference?

Hey, Just need a couple of questions answered because in a few days I'm going to finally buy a Graphics card (old one is GT 640, I know, very old), so I just need these questions answered which could possibly determine which one I get, I'll also post my computer specs.

1. Is there any difference between the GTX 770 and GTX 760?

2. Does 2GB graphics cards vs 4GB graphics cards have any effect on gaming?

3. Should I be buying the graphics card super clocked for future upgrades possibly?

4. I have the money for the GTX 760, But I know no one in my family and friends, (there all console players) that has played around with a GTX 770 or GTX 760, Should I just buy the 760 or wait a little more for the 770?

5. If i get the GTX 760, will it be able to run most games on ultra at 1920x1080p for a few years before upgrading? Or will the GTX 770 have me covered?

Sorry for so many questions, I guess im just trying to get a bang for my buck and also for the future of my pc.

Computer specs Below:

-Operating system, Windows 8.1 64x

-Intel core I7-3770 3.40ghz  (8 cpus)

-16GB ddr3 memory

- 1920x1080p GHz monitor

Its a Acer aspire m3985 if your just wondering. It would be very helpful to me if someone could help me with these answers. It would mean the world to me.

Thanks :) PS ( Bloke trying to learn his way into computers)

This topic belongs in the section "GPU" so its moved!!

Next time post in the right section please!

1: Offcourse there is a diffrence, a GTX770 is a much better performing card.

2: Not realy unless you go 1440P gaming with more then one monitor. then extra vram can come handy, or if you do more then just gaming like video editing and stuf.

3: i would recommend a super clocked card over a reference. for better performance.

4: Well its depending on which kind of games you play realy, because the GTX770 is a bit expensive in my opinnion, if i may recommend you a card, i would say go for a AMD Radeon R9-280X card, for arround the 280 dollar, this card is a much better performer then a GTX760, and it also beats a much more expensive GTX770. in most games. And comes with 3GB of vram

5:  see my recommendation above.

Grtz Angel ☺

yes, more VRAM will hold more textures and stuff... remember when GTA 4 - PC ate almost 2 GB of video memory ???? think about the nextgen games and all those textures and crap they will shove in your eyes

if you love eyecandy and want to run games at the highest settings ... you should chose a card with more VRAM.

Just get 2GB. That's plenty, and those cards don't have the bus to fully utilise 4GB of memory. The 700 series has faster Vram than the 600 series, making it much more capable with higher resolutions or newer games.

In some cases, the additional Vram makes the card slower.
