Need to know if EVGA 750ti standard will do 4K at 60hz through HDMI.
from both HDMI's yes, but not from one. need display port 1.2 to support full 60hz at 4k
Even that wouldn't technically do it either as it would come up as two displays. It would look as though it was one but really you are driving half the screen with each port.
DP 1.2 is what you need like Spartankill mentioned. That being said though, I really don't know what you'd be doing with a 750 Ti at 4K. It won't be able to run any games at that resolution and if you just want it for web browsing or something than you don't even need a GPU. I'm pretty sure the Intel 4000+ graphics can run a 4K display.
It was a customer that I had that was doing just displays of their photo and video works on a 4K screen. He wasn't going to game or anything but needed to know if the HDMI on the card was able to support 2.0 or not. EVGA had nothing to about the HDMI type itself just 1.2 on DP.
If it didn't work we will be hearing from him if it doesn't work.
