750ti an upgrade that makes sense for my system?

can somebody help me here.

is getting the 750ti a logic upgrade or just wait more and buy a whole new system.

I'm looking at a 750ti because some of them don't need any extra power(only pci-e)(see psu description)

i have this system:

CPU = Phenom II x6 1050T (6 cores @2.8Ghz)
Motherboard = GA-870A-UD3 gigabyte
RAM = 4 GB
GPU = Radeon HD 4670
PSU = ocz 600W (missing cables => got cheap 2nd hand)

will i benefit from upgrading to the 750ti?
I'm realistic and not expecting to play AAA games @ high settings in 1080p.
but i'm hoping to play at 1080p medium or low (if needed 720P)

hope somebody can and wants to help me.

sorry for possible spelling errors(not native English speaker).

edit: i'm specificly looking for a gpu that doesn't need any extra power from psu (or i'll need to buy a new psu)

thanks for your time.

from your needs a 750 Ti should meet them perfectly. And it would be cheaper than buying a whole new system, and would be quite a bit of an upgrade over that Radeon 4670.

thanks for your time and the answer.

This is also relevant to me. I have my old 4670 back in my system because I was an idiot and never packed my 6790 so it got left behind when I moved out of my apartment

That's a shame, but still a 750ti is cheap where you live and it's better than a hd 6850.

I have an evga 750ti(the tiny one). The 750ti is a really nice card for medium settings. For some games, I can even go up to high or ultra.
