"$750 Build Pc"

https://teksyndicate.com/user/register

So i basically just ripped the parts right from the article on this website and it actually came out to more than $800.

Please give me some changes i could do to lower the price and/or speed up the pc with different parts and im open to buying used parts as long as its from a reliable website. I wont deal with ebay anymore. Please also help me fix the compatibility problems that are stated on the list. Also give me a few recommendations for peripherals (i think thats what u call them) like a good cheap monitor and speakers and mice and keyboard and all that.

Looking to keep everything totalled under 1400. I also have a really old windows xp computer and monitor with speakers and everything else laying around so if u guys think it best i could pop it open and take some parts from it. Monitor has pencil marks on it and i dont mind buying a good gaming mouse for this one and if needed a keyboard.

THANKS IN ADVANCED!!!

Wrong link?

Windows XP computer - might have hardware that's a little bit too old, but it really depends.

Also, $1400 is quite a lot more than $750.

sorry about that and i meant i need everything including monitor and speakers and mice and keyboards to add up to 1400

sorry about that will post link

You could use your old hdd (if it is of a reasonable size) for storage, you might also use your old dvd drive, card reader, tv etc. Depending on how old your stuff it you might need some ide to sata adapters.

Knocked the price down a notch and added a case

The mx 100 model is new budged ssd and a bit better for the price than the old ssd you had in there. If you cant use your old hdd get a larger ssd instead or another hdd for mass storage.

the fx 6300 will perform pretty much like a 8350 in games if you get it to the same clock, I assume you will overclock

I upgraded the mobo a bit, you should get the 6300 to 4,5 with that setup.

I changed the gpu to a r9 290, that specific model is really great and you lose minimal performance for 100$ saved.

Different psu because rebates

some extra fans for cooling

Thats about 800 for the pc without rebates.

about 100$ for a recent windows version if you cant get it cheaper or for free

that leaves you with around 500 $

Proper gaming mice are around 50$ (go to a hardware store and pick one you like/is confortable). A regular 10-20$ one will also serve you well though.

Membrane keyboards are mostly pretty similar, you can just grab some logitech thing for 10$, spend a little more for something with backlight, hotkeys and so on or go for a mechanical one. Mechanical keyboards start at 50$ and and at who knows where. As with the mouse it is mostly a matter of preferance.

For now you can just use what you already have if it is not broken.

That leaves you with 300-500$ for a monitor. Again, its a matter of preferance here. I like large ips displays with high resolution, some like high refresh rate monitors, some dont want a monitor larger than 24 inch, some want a 16:10 or 21:9 aspectio ratio monitor instead of the regular 16:9. With you budged you can pick what you like except for a few super high end models.

Speakers: No idea, I always use headphones. 100$ should get you decent ones I assume.

Defineteley invest in a better motherboard :p
